Flex trainings teach you proper and safe technique to enhance your flexibility. From increased ability to perform functional movement to advanced flexibility that can be translated to your aerial dance practice, Flex is a great way to support whatever your goals may be.
Until NYC’s group fitness restrictions are lifted, Body & Pole will continue to not conduct any indoor classes. We will continue to offer individualized guided level trainings on single-use equipment.
To remain compliant, we ask that you warm yourself up at the start of each training. Your trainer will be available to personally guide you with one-on-one instruction throughout your training in proper form and technique. Body & Pole remains committed to the highest safety standards to ensure you enjoy a safe aerial flight.
In this training you will learn the proper and safe technique to enhance your flexibility and take it to the next level, using active and static stretches. There will be a focus on maintaining strength and alignment in deep stretches. Using tools such as yoga blocks and straps, you will develop body awareness and proper alignment while safely and gradually increasing your body’s range of motion.
MELT Method – RELEASE, DECOMPRESS, BALANCE
MELT is a self-treatment technique that uses specialized balls and a soft rollers in a series of movements to rehydrate the fascia and release areas of stuck stress in the body. This leads to creating balance in the neurological system, helping you get out of and stay out of pain. MELT is appropriate for all levels.
