ABOUT THE SHOW
SHOW OFF YOUR STRENGTH, FLOW, FLEX AND PERFORMANCE SKILLS!
This professionally-produced show (lights! cameras! seating!) will take place at Body & Pole on Saturday, May 20th. Consisting of multiple unique shows, each will highlight instructor-created work, student-created work and feature some extra special guest performers!
It’s a low-stress yet exciting way to show your friends and family all the skills and passion in your practice. And we offer a lot of ways to participate, from joining a group piece, working one-on-one with a coach to submitting a piece!
Covering 2/3 of our planet, this show will be inspired by the beautiful and mysterious oceans, seas and rivers. Choreographers and performers can draw from science, animal life, classic stories and fairytales, films, poetry and more to find their inspiration.

Interested in creating your own piece? Submission is FREE and will be open now until Wednesday, April 19th 2017.
1. You must have taken class at Body & Pole within the last 3 months
2. You must perform an apparatus and/or skill taught at Body & Pole
HOW TO SUBMIT:
Send an email to email@example.com by April 19th with:
1. Your name
2. Whether you are submitting as a solo, duo or group (+ names of other performers if as duo or group)
3. Apparatus(es) or skill you will showcase
4. Link to sample video of each performer doing apparatus(es)/skills (can be IG video)
5. Any ideas on your concept* *The theme is the ocean.
ABOUT THE SELECTION PROCESS:
Performers will be selected and all entrants will be notified by Friday, April 21st. Selection is based on creating diverse, balanced, and engaging audience experiences.
If selected, there is a non-refundable $75 acceptance fee, which covers:
When you a join a group piece, you’ll work with a choreographer who will fully develop your piece, from concept to choreography to costumes. Perfect for those who want to perform, but aren’t interested in creating their own piece!
Each group will meet for 4, 2-hour rehearsals and there are only 6 spots available in each group session!

When you a join a solo, you’ll work one-on-one with a coach who will help you develop a piece, from coaching on concept to structure to finding nuances within it. Perfect for those who have some ideas and flows up their sleeve, but need help putting it together!
Each soloist will share 4, 2-hour rehearsals and there are only 4 spots available in each solo session!
