As a professional desk sitter, Shondell took her first hoop class three years ago and fell in love. She’s excited to step onto a stage for the first time.
Coach: Dominic

Nadja McGlone
This piece is inspired by my first year in New York, when I believed I had to choose between fully committing to my fashion design studies and allowing myself to fall in love. The movement reflects that internal struggle—not between two people, but between ambition and the fear that love might derail it. The ending accepts that New York didn’t ask me to give anything up; it showed me I could have both.
Coach: Fran

Jess Connor @ jessconnorperforms
Jess is a circus human who has had the opportunity to work across many stages in New York City. After recovering from an intense injury, she is back in the air for the first time again tonight!

Coach: Dominic

Lea Coquet aka Lea Miliana
After moving to New York with the dream of becoming a professional dancer, Lea thought her story had ended when an injury left her unable to use her feet. But sometimes gravity opens another door.
