POLE

Strength, grace, and sensuality combine on this vertical stainless steel apparatus. This class breaks down various spins, dance movement, floorwork and conditioning exercises. You will also learn how to combine these techniques into a complete routine by the end of class. In the process you will improve body awareness, alignment and coordination. You will build upper body muscle and increase flexibility. No worries if you have none of these skills. We will teach you all the basics needed to progress. We recommend taking 3-5 intro classes and/or receiving instructor approval before moving to a Level 1 class. If you have some experience in Pole we recommend you begin with a Level 1 class and inquire directly with your instructor to have your accurate level assessed.

INTRO TO POLE

If you have never taken a pole dance class, this is where your journey begins. In this class you will learn the fundamentals of pole dance technique and strength training that will prepare you to join our beginner level classes. We recommend that you take this class 3 to 5 times before moving on. Please wear shorts or pants that can be rolled up to expose the back of your knees.

Aerial HOOP

Suspended in the air, Aerial Hoop (aka “lyra”), is a circular metal apparatus. You will learn how to create beautiful shapes below, inside and above the apparatus. This class will teach you various techniques to enter and exit the hoop. With conditioning exercises you will build strength, body awareness and coordination. No worries if you have none of these skills. We will teach you all the basics needed to progress. We recommend taking 3-5 intro classes and/or receiving instructor approval before moving to a Level 1 class. If you have some experience in Hoop we recommend you begin with a Level 1 class and inquire directly with your instructor to have your accurate level assessed.

INTRO TO HOOP

If you have never taken aerial hoop and are new to aerial dance, this is the class for you. Your instructor will begin class by leading you through a series of strength, flexibility and conditioning exercises that will help prepare you to later on transition into the air. You will learn the various techniques to enter and exit the hoop, along with conditioning exercises using the hoop. We recommend you take Intro to Hoop 3-5 times and/or have instructor approval prior to joining Level 1 Hoop.

Aerial HAMMOCK

INTRO TO HAMMOCK

If you are new to aerial hammock, this class is for you! We will begin with a warm-up and a series of strength & flexibility developing exercises that will prepare you to transition into the air. You will learn how to enter and exit the hammock gracefully and be introduced to the foundational skills, shapes and tricks that will prepare you to join Aerial Hammock – Level 1.

Aerial SILK

Aerial Silk (aka “fabric“ or “tissu”) is an aerial apparatus consisting of two pieces of fabric suspended from the ceiling. You will learn how to climb and wrap the silks to create various holds and “locks” around your body. Silk class will help you build upper strength, increase flexibility and coordination. No worries if you have none of these skills. We will teach you all the basics needed to progress. We recommend taking 3-5 intro classes and/or receiving instructor approval before moving to a Level 1 class. If you have some experience in Hoop we recommend you begin with a Level 1 class and inquire directly with your instructor to have your accurate level assessed.

INTRO TO SILK

If you have never taken Aerial Silk and are new to aerial dance, this is the class for you. Your instructor will begin class by leading you through a series of strength, flexibility and conditioning exercises that will help prepare you later on transition into the air. You will learn basic climbing skills, as well as how to create “locks” around your body using the fabric. After grasping these fundamentals, you will be prepared to join our beginner level Aerial Silk classes. We recommend that you take Intro to Silk 3-5 times or have instructor approval prior to joining Silk Level 1 classes.
