Late Policy

DO NOT BE LATE. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO GIVE YOUR SPOT TO ANOTHER STUDENT ON THE WAITLIST.

YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO JOIN THE CLASS AND WILL NOT BE REFUNDED YOUR MONEY.

You should be dressed and ready to start your session at the scheduled time. We suggest that you arrive to the studio at least 15 minutes before your scheduled class to avoid late cancelation charges.

This is a safety issue, and we ask that you respect both our instructors and other students by showing up on time.

We are very strict about this rule, so we cannot make exceptions, even if students say they didn’t know about it. Reminders are included in all of our class booking emails! 😉

CANCELATION POLICY

At Body & Pole we have a 12-hour cancelation policy. As long as you cancel at least 12 hours before your scheduled class or waitlist, you will not lose that class. The class credit will go back to your account, and you will be able to use it for another class.

If you late cancel, you will lose the class from your account.

***Monthly members will be charged $35 each time they late cancel a class.

PRIVATE CLASSES:

We ask that you let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time if you need to cancel a private class; otherwise, you will lose your payment.

There are no refunds on late cancelations.

***This cancelation policy does not apply to PRIVATE PARTIES. This is for regularly scheduled classes only. For the party policy, please go to the PARTY page.

SIGN-UP POLICY:

We love last-minute walk-ins, but to guarantee that you get in to the class, and to make sure it runs, please reserve your spot online. Unfortunately, six hours before its scheduled time, any class with less than three participants signed up will be canceled.

WAITLIST POLICY:

When classes are full, you can sign up to be on the waitlist. Frequently, people sign out early from classes, making room for those on the waitlist. When a student signs out within the 12-hour cancelation period, you will receive an automatic email letting you know you have been taken off the waitlist, and given a spot in the class. At that point, you will be held to the same cancelation policy as any other class you sign up for.

In case someone late cancels a class you are waitlisted for, you will be notified by phone or email from one of our front desk staff, to let you know you have been added to class from the waitlist.

Please make sure we have a valid phone number and email, so we can easily contact you.

When you sign up for the waitlist, please be prepared to come to the studio and take the class.

If you are not sure you will be able to make it on short notice, please remove yourself from the waitlist to avoid being charged for class in case you are added in. If you are added into class, you will be held to the same cancelation policy as any other class you sign up for.

REFUNDS & TRANSFERS:

Class cards and memberships are non-refundable and non-transferable. Once you purchase your classes, make sure you know the expiration date and use all classes before that date. We will not extend the expiration date.

PICTURES & FILMING:

Taking pictures and filming are not allowed in our classes. Please respect other students’ privacy. If you want to take pictures of or film yourself, you are welcome to do so during the following times:

  • Pole parties
  • Private classes
  • Private space sental
  • Open Pole Play Time
  • After class, before the next class starts

AGE LIMITATIONS:

***NEW AGE REQUIREMENT

Anyone aged 13 and older can take adult classes on our regular schedule; children under 13 may only take our Fly Kids classes.

If you are under the age of 18, we require parental consent. Your parent needs to come to the studio with you, provide ID, and sign a release form. This is for insurance liability purposes. Feel free to sign up for class online ahead of time, but make sure you are accompanied by your parent when you come in for your first class.

ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES:

No alcohol is allowed to be consumed before any physical activities at the studio. If you are intoxicated when arriving to our studio, you will not be allowed to participate in class, and will not be refunded your money.

PROPER ATTIRE:

Please wear proper attire when visiting our studio. Proper attire is: athletic wear such as opaque fitted shorts (loose material will not be allowed), sports bras and/or tank tops, or opaque leggings for hoop and fabric classes.

No see-through material is allowed. No undergarments are allowed to be used as workout attire.

FOOD & BEVERAGES:

Food and beverages, with the exception of bottled water, are not allowed in the dance studios. Please make sure to leave food and drinks in the locker room with your personal belongings.

BEHAVIOR AT THE STUDIO:

  • Please respect your instructors and fellow students and leave your phone conversations outside the studio while in class. This applies to text messaging as well.
  • No street shoes in the studio.
  • We do not tolerate bullying or disrespecting of other students and their personal space. Such behavior will result in you being removed from the studio, and banned from taking classes at Body & Pole.

SPACE RENTALS:

  • Space rentals are for personal use (practice, rehearsals, videotaping, etc.), and are not for profit purposes.
  • A 24-hour cancelation policy applies when booking a private space rental; you will not be refunded your money if you cancel less than 24 hours ahead of time.
  • Space rentals are by the hour; we do not do half-hour rentals.

PARTIES:

  • Total cost of party must be paid at time of booking in order to make your reservation.
  • When booking a party, we must select the group size. If the number of people changes and your rate is affected by it, you MUST let us know at least 24 hours ahead of time in order to update your information in the system. We will not be able to charge a lower rate unless you give us enough time to update the system.
  • In case of cancelation, up to 14 days before the party, you will get 75% of the total party cost refunded to your card or you can reschedule for no extra charge.
  • If you cancel less than 14 days before your party, you will get 50% of the total party cost refunded to your card. You will not be able to reschedule unless paying for another party. Please note, cancelation can be made no later than 24 hours before the party start time. If you cancel within 24 hours before your party you will be receive no refund. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS ON FULL CHARGE FOR LATE COMERS OR LATE CANCELATIONS.
  • If you are planning on bringing food or beverages with you, you are allowed to use our common areas with your group, 15 minutes before or after your scheduled party. Food and drinks (except for water) are not allowed inside the dance studio.
  • Lateness to parties will result in a shorter party time with the discretion of the instructor regarding proceeding with the party or not. (Over 30 minutes late to a party will most likely mean you will NOT be getting a party, so don’t be late!).
  • Anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol will not be permitted to participate and will not be refunded their money.
  • We can only accept cash or 1 credit card for payment.

TRAINCATION POLICIES:

A 12-hour cancelation policy applies to all students, for classes and waitlists. Traincation-pass holders will be charged $35 each time they late cancel a class. No exceptions.

Purchasing a Traincation pass does not guarantee you a spot in class unless you reserve your class in advance.

The seven-day expiration begins on the first day you use the pass.
