  • I started with Lian Tal 6 weeks ago. I have had 6 months of pole training with S Factor and I thought I knew what I was doing. I had no idea!

Over the past weeks I have evolved from being reluctant and timid into a sexy pole addict. Lian not only helped me increase my core strength and flexibility but also became a close friend. She is very focused yet makes every class so much fun. I never want it to end.

Lian gives so much of herself in every practice. She is attentive and attune to me. I am so impressed with her patience. Her attention to form and movement is flawless. She finds different ways to work particular parts of the body so that you are always interested and never bored. My strength just keeps growing and my body definition is wonderful.

I would describe Lian as hot, adorable, immaculate, seductive, provocative, winsome, tantalizing, beautiful, alluring, mesmeric, sexy, delicious, stunning, vivacious, and about any other word that elevates good looking to severely attractive.

Thank you Lian for your dedication and kicking my ass.

    Love always,

  • I am almost giddy as I’m writing this.

Because of the stretches that Lian taught me I am finally almost able to do a full front split! Until I started learning pole with Lian, I never really knew how to stretch out my hips–the “right” way. Lian makes sure that my body is always in the proper alignment and teaches me the tiny little tricks to getting my body into the “oh so this is how it should feel” position.

But last night, after just a full week of stretching the way Lian taught me, I was able to go from being a half a foot off the floor to nearly touching the floor!!! I almost think it is a miracle because I’ve been attempting this split for two years with no success but I know the reason is Lian’s instruction. She gave me that missing link of teaching what I needed. I am very grateful. Yay!

  • Lian caters to everything I look for in a pole instructor. From beginner to advanced, she has so much to offer students. She’s an absolute sweetheart, has an encyclopedic knowledge of pole tricks and how to get you in and out of them, gets you stronger and more flexible, and most importantly she teaches you at your own pace.

No set syllabus here keeping you from learning your next move!

She’s taught me so much and moved my “poling” along at lightning fast speed.

Lian is gifted at breaking down how a trick works and what you need to do to get there. She’s changed my world!

  • I do not have enough words to express the magnitude of the impact that Lian from Body and Pole has had on bringing the art of pole dance into my life.

Although there are many talented and skilled women in the pole dance world, Lian has the PERFECT balance of grace, sensuality, strength/athleticism, and musicality that after first watching her videos, I could say “Now THAT’s pole dancing!!”

I ultimately decided to seek her out, and it was fate that I finally got to meet Lian and begin to truly study the art of pole dance. In addition to the qualities that I’ve already mentioned, Lian also possesses tremendous patience and such an eye for correct technique that make her such a highly effective instructor.

Thank you Lian, for believing in me, and I look forward to many more classes with you!!

  • This September, my friends from England and me were on holiday in New York. As pole dancing is the one thing we have in common, we decided to have a pole lesson in New York.

We’ve all had regular lessons in England for a year or so before that. When we came to New York, I tried to find some place to have a shared private lesson.

I knew Lian from her youtube videos, so I contacted her. We had two shared private lessons with three girls each.

The lessons were completely different to what we’ve encountered before. We did a thorough warm up and stretching first, then some strengthening exercises on the pole, and then she went through our specific wishes- moves we had told her we wanted to work on.

It was the best pole lesson I’ve had so far- not only the three different parts, but her technical knowledge about the moves, her safety precautions and her great attitude, which encouraged us and made us feel safe at the same time was a totally different experience to every other pole lesson I’ve had.

In my opinion, Lian is an exceptionally good pole instructor who combines great skill with the right approach to teaching. Even though I live in Vienna, I will definitely come back to have more lessons with her.

    Take care

  • I started taking pole dancing classes in summer of ’07.

I immediately fell in love. I have never been an athletic person, or practiced any form of exercise before.
After 1.5 years I suffered from a thoracic spinal injury. I had to stop taking pole dancing classes, and undergo physical therapy. I thought I was doing everything in pole properly. It turns out I was very wrong.

After 8 months off the pole I returned to class. I was not building my strength back or improving at all, even after 2 months. One day in class I ended up sharing a pole with Lian. I knew she was an amazing pole dancer, I have always admired her.

Little did I know Lian would change my “pole life”. She corrected me on every little thing, including the very basics. My pole crunches were way off. I realized I was doing everything wrong, due to the fact that my basic position was incorrect. That most likely lead to my injury.

Shortly after I started taking classes with Lian once a week.

After 3 classes, I was stronger than I was after 2 months of the other classes. I have been taking classes with Lian for about 2 months, and my strength has greatly improved! I’m almost back to the level I reached before my injury.

With Lian I really feel like I’m learning everything properly and consistently. I am also really learning to dance, stretch/warm up, and perform tricks. I feel as though my flexibility has greatly improved as well. Lian is such a wonderful teacher and friend. She really breaks things down for you to be able to properly understand.

She pointed out simple moves and positions I was slightly off on. Those simple things that I wouldn’t have realized made such a big difference. She is a very patient teacher.

She pays such attention to form, you will not be able to get away with executing anything less than perfectly by then end of your session.

Her style of pole dance is very graceful and beautiful. I would describe her as an acrobatic pole ballerina. I am so grateful for Lian’s help.

Without her I may have hurt myself again and have permanently had to stop pole dancing. I will continue to take classes with Lian for as long as possible!

    Thank you so much!
